I won the security system over with an offering of American cheese slices. Now, instead of barking its fool head off, the thing looks at me with pathetic eyes expecting some yummy cheddar goodness. Looks like I'll be sharing my grilled-cheese sandwiches for the next year....

So, I attempted to keep up with all my co-workers and friends in Colorado Springs, but everyone appears to be on MySpace. Therefore, I created an account, too. Um, there's nothing on it, but at least I'll be able to keep in touch...

Shoulda known better...

I'm tired. Very tired. I'm sitting in an indoor courtyard at the Dragon Hill Lodge on Yongsan Army Garrison in Seoul. Here's how the past 27 hours have gone:

- I get to the Delta ticket counter in Colorado Springs only to find out the Air Force never actually bought my plane tickets. 30 minutes on hold to an "emergency" contact number and I have tickets.

- 24 hours later and I'm at the baggage claim at Incheon Int'l Airport. I'm there... my luggage isn't.

- A 1-hour bus ride from hell gets me to my hotel only to find out I have to wait 3 more hours for a room.

Hey, only 364 more days of fun!
