Grocery Shopping, Korean Style

When they advertise "Fresh Seafood" in Korea, they mean it! The small clams in the top picture are still moving. So is the octopus in the next one. How they keep the critters on the shelf I'll never know.

The bottom pic is live squid swimming with large scallops. You pick 'em, you eat 'em.

In this alley near my apartment, you'll find a Chinese joint "Ho Lee Chow" (say it outloud) and a place pushing raw oysters...

Halloween 2008

Marli's a Geisha Chick, Nate's a Vamp, Rowan's a Butterfly, and Caite's a ...um... I forget. I think it's a Halloween Fairy, but I can't remember.
